A fully automatic robotic system for manufacturing high quality precast concrete elements increases the level of automation within the production process. A storage robot selects the required shutters from the shuttering storage as directed by the CAD data transmitted by the ebos® control system. The shuttering robot next positions them with total precision on the mould surface, depending on the elements to be produced and then activates the integral magnets in the shutters.

On removal of the elements the deshuttering robot scans the shutters, identifies them and picks them up fully automatically. Next, they are automatically delivered to a system, where they are cleaned and provided with a release agent and finally sorted by length and deposited once more in the shuttering storage.

Scalable performance spectrum

To increase production output, the entire system can be equipped with one, two or three robots. Depending on the system, the pallet cleaning device can be fixed or mobile. The flexible machine layout makes the Form Master ideal for modernising your existing systems.

Centimetre shutter

progress has developed an innovative formula, which makes precise shuttering possible with centimetre spacing. Accurate shuttering to the centimetre without using filling elements such as polystyrene becomes reality with this patented shuttering system. An ingenious combination system reduces the number of lengths of shuttering sections used to a minimum.

The Infinity Line® Notch-Free shuttering system also guarantees perfect outer edges because the elements are produced without chamfered recess marks. This is made possible by a combinational logic system, which has also been patented and which ensures that the chamfered recesses are located only where they are actually needed.

Can shutterting robots be integrated into existing production plants?

Shuttering and Deshuttering robots can be flexibly integrated into existing production plants. Modular systems and standardized interfaces allow them to complement existing processes and efficiently advance automation in formwork operations.

Mesh Spacer

The spacers for wire mesh mats were previously placed manually in the form of rings, plastics strips, or spacer bars. With the aid of a special solution, the Mesh Spacer, these elements can be replaced by special spacers and positioned on a production pallet fully automatically by a robot system. During production, a positioner takes the required number of spacers from the magazine and places them on the positions defined by the CAD-CAM data. The optimal position is calculated with the system’s own algorithm and monitored by an integrated laser system. In this way, uniform concrete cover can be ensured.
